Tuscany in the Heart of Chianti

This retreat is near and dear to me. Having been here 4 times and curating it based on my experience and heart, I can’t wait to share it with you. We’ll get moving each morning with a group class, then spend our days soaking in culture, local life, natural springs, touring historic sites, and enjoying the iconic food and wine of this stunning Italian region. This is the same place I held the 2026 retreat but I added one more night to the itinerary because it was so wonderful and tweaked the itinerary quite a bit. There are also many impromptu things that will pop up we will have an opportunity to do, based on local happenings that week. It’s so fun to have random things added.

Daily fitness classes with me
4-star accommodations at the Hotel Palazzo Squarcialupi (double occupancy) The staff is beyond amazing, I am continuing to stay in touch with them after the last retreat here.
- Limited availability of single occupancy rooms for an extra charge. But please note, we will be spending very little time in the hotel rooms.
Breakfast INCLUDED every morning, plus 4 lunches and 3 dinners.
All activities listed in the itinerary with a local guide or me:)
Private group airport transfers (this is a HUGE money saver) I also will take care of all tipping to drivers and tour guides. No need to stress on figuring that out.

There is one single occupancy available ( one is taken) it increases your payment by $500 for the 7 nights. I need to know ASAP if you want this, as the Hotel is already almost booked for June 2027.

$500 deposit required to hold your spot. I will not hold spots without a deposit.

Deposit is non-refundable if purchase is canceled 60 days or less before the start of the retreat
Final payment in full is due 60 days prior to the trip

Itinerary

- Transfer to hotel. I will meet you upon arrival and get you checked in and give you an optional wine welcome tasting next door.
- Welcome dinner at Taverna Squarcialupi
- Free time to rest or explore the small local town.

Tuscan Taste Track in Chianti
Flavors and smells are memories that we carry with us. That's what you’ll take home from this unforgettable experience exploring the Tastes of Tuscany. Following a expert local guide off the beaten path of Chianti, we will discover local products and the people behind them.
We start the tour visiting a cheese farm, beginning at the barn and learning all the steps of cheese crafting. The authentic passion of the shepherds translate into delicious pecorinos, ricottas, and more!
Next, we will enjoy a tasting of extra virgin olive oil. A local producer will share their knowledge of this iconic Italian culinary staple.
Our journey will continue into the world of wine. There is no better way of enjoying Chanti than visiting an organic winery. We will be hosted by a family that has been making wine for centuries in the Chianti Classico style. We’ll explore the property and cellar, and learn some wine-making secrets in the process.
Finally, a stunning view of cypresses, vines, and olive groves will create a perfect frame for a lunch of typical Tuscan products paired with regional wines.
This journey will fulfill your taste buds AND your soul.

Val d'Orcia Tour
Where picturesque views and breathtaking scenery are in harmony with art and outstanding food tradition, we are in Val d'Orcia, unsurprisingly UNESCO world heritage.
Driving around rolling hills, sunflowers and roads lined with cypress trees, we will focus on tracking down the highest quality Pecorino cheese and red wines: two delicacies of the area still strongly connected to the knowledge of our ancestors. Our expert driver guide will accompany you the entire day to introduce you to the real soul of Tuscany..
We will head first to Montalcino, a medieval village that offers many attractions, from monuments to its excellent local craft shops, where you will have free time to discover the charming historic center. The town boasts a unique surrounding landscape featuring olive groves alternating with vineyards. This is the land of "Brunello" top quality wine that has made this village famous all over the world. A local winery will host us where a knowledgeable guide will take you around the property combined with a private visit in the cellar. Afterwards, you will have lunch in an exclusive context pairing typical Tuscan food with their exquisite Brunello wines.
Then, it is the turn of Pienza, a real jewel nestled in the heart of the Val D'Orcia valley. It is considered to be the touchstone of the Renaissance urbanism plan, it was realized by the request of Pope Pius II, from whom the city's name derives. Let us be amazed by the views that surround the village. The geometric perspective, the impressive volumes of the Cathedral and of Palazzo Piccolomini, and the utilization of space in the Medieval Borgo's center that represent a remarkable testimony to the architectonic genius of the epoch. We will conclude the day with a cheese tasting in a traditional local Bottega' in town, where you will be able to taste various kinds of Pecorino cheese, a signature product of the area.

There is a local small concert this night. it was Jazz last I went but it varies. It was so fun. all the locals join.
Class: Barre Inspired Sweat and Burn
We will visit the Panzano Sunday open-air market, it is small but cute and where I purchased one of my favorite linen pants. There is a wonderful cute wine shop that offers free tasting, I will go to but you can pass if you want ot explore the town. We will have a group Lunch here at Enoteca Baldi , one of my favorites.
Then off to Radda for a short visit. Cute shops, and one of my favorite spots for a picture.
This evening will be free to try one of our local restaurants in our town.
Class: We will do a longer workout session on day 5, with class style chosen based on how we are feeling. It will definitely be a good sweat and restore.
We will have a private lunch and wine tasting at Tenuta Cassanova , one of my last retreat groups favorite. Homemade lunch at a gorgeous location and pristine wine cellar. Wine tasting and the best balsamic vinegar I have ever tasted. You will have the option after this of going back and relaxing or joining me to explore Siena, a more populous but charming town with rich history, the famous Piazza del Campo and lots of shopping options.
If the weather isn’t too hot (we couldn’t go this year) there will be an all day trip to Hot Springs Pictured top. If its too hot I will have various options for you. Waterfall visit, cooking classes, etc. After I am at capacity I will ask you your preference for this day well in advance. But whatever the adventure, it will be amazing.

Free time in our town with an optional Castle visit just down the walkway from our hotel.
Farewell Dinner
A morning class will be available for those who do not need an early departure.
